Just like this blog, Fork and Story supper club was born from the collective pushes of my friends who have, at one point in their lives, subjected themselves to my food.
I didn’t think much about the idea until I moved to Amsterdam and found myself not having many good Thai restaurant options and with more people telling me to launch an underground Thai eatery.
And so I did.
Food is an original form of social media. It’s a delicious agent that binds people together. It can inspire many great conversations and stories. Hence, Fork and Story. We aim to replicate a Sunday supper feel of a home-cooked meal over a family dining table. No frills. No pretence. No stuffy white table cloths… just my rumpled stack of linen napkins in my tiny apartment with a grand view of Amsterdam canals.
The food is cooked through intuition and without a rigid recipe.
If that all sounds good to you, come to my home, pull up a chair and stay for a meal!
