A culinary trip to the streets of Thailand, in the setting of a beautiful Amsterdam apartment. Fresh and delicious flavors... well rounded dishes masterfully presented and paired with wines, are a true joy to experience from start to finish. - Maria L
I have had the pleasure of attending Fork and Story’s Thai Supper Club twice already and I will certainly be going back again and again. Not only is the food truly a one of a kind in Amsterdam, with quality which surpasses any restaurant I can think of, but the entire experience is a unique delight. Nusara’s food is well crafted, superbly tasty, well presented and each dish comes with a short back story explaining its origins and place in Thai culture. Paired with these delicious dishes, Nusara’s husband, Derrek, a wine connoisseur, delivers a similarly sumptuous experience with specially selected wines complementing the flavours of the dishes. In the lovely surrounds of their Prinsengracht canal house, you can’t help but be transported into a deliciously decadent evening. - Clare
Nusara and Derrek were amazing hosts and everything from the ambience to the food to the wine pairing was perfect. The attention to detail was beyond what most restaurants provide and I enjoyed the background story that accompanied every dish. We left full and happy!

Nusara's Fork & Story Supper Club, hosted in her gorgeous home in Amsterdam is simply OUT OF THIS WORLD and by far the best foodie experience I've had in the city. She, and her lovely husband Derrek, who carefully chooses the wine / drinks pairings for each dish, put so much love and detail into the crafting of the supper club menu and the setting, that it becomes quite literally a little trip into another world.
The food has a lot of heritage, Nusara even brings special ingredients which you can't get in Amsterdam, from her home in Thailand. She talks through the origin of the dishes, the recipes, the story - so you really appreciate it in all its glory. On top of all the deliciousness, which will make you roll out of her apartment (be careful not to slide down the typical Amsterdam steep stairs!) because you simply cannot stop eating.
Nusara's and Derrek's appreciation for beautiful design and styling make this experience an absolutely high-end treat for all senses. The silverware, plates, bowls, glasses... all curated and collected pieces Nusy brings home from her travels here and there. What else to say. I could go on and on... but I think you get the gist. Book whilst you can - very intimate special treat! I promise, you won't be disappointed! (And if you don't book, I'm lucky enough to get the next slot for myself again) - Katha
It’s no stretch to say that Fork & Story Supper Club is the most memorable and delicious dining experience in Amsterdam. Intimidate and beautiful setting. Yes! Perfect wine pairings and artful presentation. Absolutely. And the food? I crave and think about each of the courses on the regular. Can not wait to go back! - Dani
Imagine having delicious, authentic Thai food from the hands of a gourmet Thai chef but not have to go to Thailand. Now imagine a dinner setting on the historic Amsterdam canals, nestled above the Prinsengracht......these two wonderful things are combined into one for the Fork and Story experience. Not to mention the drink pairing is idyllic and the hosts - Nusara and Derrek - company is top notch. I cannot recommend it enough as an amazing experience in Amsterdam. - Nick
Fork and Story has single-handedly redefined my expectations of authentic Thai cooking. Doing so in Amsterdam is no easy feat. World class wine, meticulously crafted Thai dishes, and great company in the comfort of a beautiful Dutch home. What more could you ask for?
